Mart is a Catalan designer, artist, and maker based between Barcelona and London. They graduated in Product Design from ELISAVA in 2018 and later completed an MA in Material Futures at Central Saint Martins, UAL, in 2021.

Their practice is rooted in metalwork, which they explore through traditional craftsmanship and experimental techniques. As a hands-on maker, Mart works across objects, furniture, and installations, with a strong focus on material, process, and the possibilities of making.

Alongside their artistic and design practice, Mart has extensive experience in educational, artistic, and commercial environments. They have worked in technical and teaching roles at leading art and design institutions, including Central Saint Martins (UAL) and IED Barcelona, where they have supported and managed workshops in metalwork, woodworking, and digital fabrication. Their technical expertise includes metalworking, carpentry, CNC machining, 3D printing, laser cutting, prototyping, and workshop management.

Mart has also collaborated with brands and creative studios, including Nike and Superflux Studio. They are currently part of the network of collaborators at TMDC Barcelona, where they develop their own metalwork projects and take on design and fabrication commissions, working closely with clients to develop and produce bespoke objects, furniture, and installations.

Their projects have been exhibited internationally at institutions and events including the Design Museum in London, Disseny Hub Barcelona, and Milan Design Week. Their work is also currently on display at Il·lacions Design Gallery.

Through their practice, Mart moves fluidly between design, making, teaching, and technical production, combining strong material knowledge with a hands-on and experimental approach to contemporary design.
